Jeffrey is Solving the Problem

The problem I introduced was how outdated the campus is and that it negatively affects the students. I have come up with an app that would help streamline each student's experience to save them time and hassle. The app would include things such as facility availability, an interactive campus map, food ordering options, bus rides; etc. The app would contain each students schedule and would act as each students personal assistant.

    I think this would be really helpful and could potentially improve life on campus. There's a lot of thing you don't know about campus unless you talk to a bunch of people. This would be great especially for freshman and transfer students. I think a complaints section would also be helpful so others can see what to avoid and the school can work to improve those specific things.

    Hi Jeffery, it seems like in your interviews you didn’t have anyone who said they would be interested in using the app. I wonder if in response to this you are considering tweaking your idea. I think that there are already apps for a lot of the services your app would offer, however, many of them have room for improvement, like Rider.

Jeffrey Celebrating Failure

Something I try almost every week is a strict workout routine, something I have not followed through once. That accounts to many failures. Now my body weight fluctuates naturally depending on what I eat or drink and the excess calories are not offset by burnt calories from working out. I’ve learned that I need to better at planning. I need to make strict schedules and write motivational notes to myself every morning and night so working out is always on my mind and it consciously becomes a part of my life. Not that I am embarrassed by my failures but more ashamed. I am ashamed that I couldn’t keep to a schedule and be the person I want to be. I showed me that np many how mad I say I want something, I’ll never do what I need to achieve it without putting in the required effort.
