Jeffrey's Idea Napkin

1) I think my most valuable talent is my resourcefulness and intuition to be able to get the most out of what I have been given. I would definitely call myself extremely efficient and effective. In terms of the app, it’s one app that can do many things while being free and saving its users time and money.

2)The product is a free app that makes money through adds. The purpose of the app is to be a free personal assistant in the pockets of UF students. Its services range from a campus map, facility usage calculator, coupon magazine, calendar, alarm, food ordering, canvas medium, convenient way to communicate with teachers; etc.

3) My customers are all college students who need to save both money and time. It is especially helpful with UF students living on campus.

4) Students do not even need to pay for the app, it is free. The app would make money using advertisements in the coupon books. They would pay to be included in the coupon book. Students would download the app to save money and time.

5) The app is all-in-one, it makes students’ lives so much easier. There is no other app remotely similar.

All of the elements fit together well. I believe if the app was a thing many students would use it. The only issue would be making it small enough so that it doesn’t take up too much data.

Jeffrey Celebrating Failure

Something I try almost every week is a strict workout routine, something I have not followed through once. That accounts to many failures. Now my body weight fluctuates naturally depending on what I eat or drink and the excess calories are not offset by burnt calories from working out. I’ve learned that I need to better at planning. I need to make strict schedules and write motivational notes to myself every morning and night so working out is always on my mind and it consciously becomes a part of my life. Not that I am embarrassed by my failures but more ashamed. I am ashamed that I couldn’t keep to a schedule and be the person I want to be. I showed me that np many how mad I say I want something, I’ll never do what I need to achieve it without putting in the required effort.
