Idea Napkin #2

1      I see myself as being very resourceful and making the most out of my opportunities and what I have to work with. I get the most out of situations and have become increasingly able to get the same out of people as my leadership skills have developed. This spans through most facets of life including time and money which my app promise to save in bunches. If I had this app already made or someone else made it, I would surely use it every day.
2      The app is supposed to be a personal assistant on the phone for UF students. It houses many features, including but not limited to: school scheduling, teacher/faculty contact, local and exclusive coupons, daily deals, local news, food ordering, and facility use reports. The app is designed to streamline the student experience at UF.
3      The app for sure could work for anyone living in Gainesville, but UF students will benefit most from the app.
4      The app is free as it makes money through partnerships and ads. Students care because college is expensive and time-consuming and the app promises savings in both.
5      No one has a comparable app out at the moment. Ours is the first of it time.

The app is the perfect blend of efficient and effective. It saves time and money. It allows the owner to have the most fun at the cheapest price in Gainesville no matter the night or mood. It will totally revolutionize the student experience. It is basically like having a full time personal assistant constantly looking up the best deals in town, making direct contact with your professors, telling you what’s open and what’s not; etc.

I didn’t get any feedback on my initial post.

  1. Hi Jeffery,
I really like this app idea. I think that if you created it, I would also probably use it every day. And this would likely be true of many other UF students. Personally I think that Canvas is sub-par. It would be nice to have an app that was a little more intuitive for school scheduling and faculty contact. You could even make your app the place to go when a person is trying to find organizations and events to get involved with in Gainesville.

  2. It's always good to be optimistic about your product. You say "ours" when referring to your product as if you has people working with you- that could be good to do during the pitch. Also didn't get any feedback on my initial post. I think you may have forgotten to answer which of these tie into each other well. Other than that great job on the post.
