Domenic Aluise
1)    Friend who grew up in Pittsburgh and started tech/engineering company at 16 after winning $50,000 reward in engineering company.
2)    Domain Expert
3)    We are both in Greek life, and met through that.
4)    We haven’t necessarily exchanged favors but he has shown me many tips and secrets of running a successful business and being a young entrepreneur. We have recommended books to each other.
5)    His company is about to blow up, knowing the founder of a successful business and having his connections at your hands after a while could certainly be a benefit to me.
Nick Giandemenico
1)    He is a middle-aged father of two who runs an extremely large tech service company. He has over 100 “tech experts” working for him.
2)    Supplier
3)    Lived next to him for 14 years
4)    He’s told me little things here and there my whole life. He owns a very successful tech company that does huge numbers in the industry. I don’t know if there is anything I could do to benefit him in business at this moment in time.
5)    He is in different industry than most of the adults I know, it diversifies my portfolio in terms of knowing successful, established business owners in different fields of different ages.
Andrew Rudnick
1)    He is the founder of Matza Ball, which is the largest single’s dating event in the world. Owns several other successful businesses in several different fields.
2)    Market expert
3)    Got a job for him working as a sales agent for one of his companies.
4)    He gave me a job and wrote my checks. As his sales agent, I was the top-earner in the office during my time which made him a lot of money.
5)    He’s always going to be there if I need a job in the future.
I definitely think this exercised opens my eyes on how many successful people I know. I do not take advantage of the situation enough. It is definitely greatly beneficial to know a lot of successful business owners in different types of industries as even if you’re not using them as a connection, you could introduce them to a friend and so on.

  1. Looks like you found a great set of people that could help you get your app started! It's always good to keep in contact with people in case you need help along the road. All of the people on my list are related to either this University or another. I can't really think of any criticism here since you did the assignment? Nice job.
